As part of a festive project, this is my 3rd creation for our decor. As this project is celebrating a birthday, it is truly a universal banner intended to celebrate Happy ‘Whatever’ Day! Since you will make it as you go, change your words, colors and size to suit your desired project goal.
My steps are quite simple and easy to work along with others. Great for a classroom or group of children or simply on your own. Since you are truly the author, it can be fun, playful or sophisticated, all working towards your vision. I’m coordinating with our Minnie Mouse Birthday theme so I chose the matching pink card-stock and circle shapes since it would match nicely to the mouse ears.
- First: Select your favorite card-stock and decide your phrase so you can select the proper number of sheets
- Second: Cut your circles. Be sure you’ve decide the size of your letters so you can cut the paper appropriately larger.
- Third: Complete lettering the phrase by Tracing and coloring the letters onto each sheet. (You may choose to print your lettering too, we chose to personalize it by hand)
- Fourth: Cut decorate edges as you desire
- Fifth: Matte the sheets together so you have a nice layered banner.
- Last: decide how to display it!
So easy yet offers the perfect personal touch to any event.
The paper used was the Poptone Razzle Berry 100lb Cover and also the Poptone Cotton Candy 65lb Cover
